5 Cards 1 Kit Featuring Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Hello Everyone and thank you so much for joining me !! I think I came up with some fun cards that I hope you will enjoy. If you want a more in-depth look at how these cards came together please check out the video down below. Let's jump right in!!

For the First card I used an A2 sized base, cut a matte out of the fog cardstock from the kit about 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base and cut a panel out of some of the pattern paper from the kit to be about 1/8th of an inch smaller than my Fog matte. I stamped the beautiful floral image on my panel and used RV00 and RV02 to colour in the roses. I then cut out a thin frame from the glitter paper and inlaid it in to the panel and adhered all the layers down. To finish off the card I stamped out a sentiment in Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink and added a few Vanilla Luster Sequins to the panel.

For this card I focus on pattern paper, I fussy cut out all the sweets from on paper to be the focal images on my A2 card. I also trimmed out a piece of Surf Blue cardstock to be the matte and a piece of pattern paper to act as the background for the fussy cut images. I trimmed out a sentiment from the pattern paper and adhered it across the bottom of my layers then with a mix of liquid glue and thin 3D foam squares adhered all my elements onto the panel. For a finishing touch I added some Vanilla cluster sequins across the panel and called this card done.

I love making mini slimline cards so for this card my base is 6x6 then scored at the 3 inch mark, I cut out two pieces of pattern paper to cover the front of the mini slimline and then brought in a pale pink ribbon to cover the seam between them. I adhered the ribbon on the back of the panel with some score-tape and adhered the panel down to my base with liquid glue. I cut out the miss you sentiment with glitter cardstock for the words and a heavy weight vellum for the shadow and adhered it on top of the ribbon, then finished off my card by adding some pale pink gems from my stash.

As you guys know I love making Artist trading Cards so I had to make one using this kit, I cut out my 2.5 by 3.5 piece of cardstock I chose a piece of the stamp I wanted to focus on which in this case is a rose and some leaves and then stamped them out in a Copic safe ink. I brought in some vibrant colours to colour in my image, for the rose I used RV02, RV04, RV06, RV17 and for the leaves I used G02, G16, G19, G29 and I used C9 to colour in the background making those vibrant colours pop even more. I brought in my white gel pen to add some bright highlights and added some Vanilla Luster sequins to finish off this Artist trading card.

For my Final card I really wanted to make a shaker card, so I cut out my mini slimline base, a mint green matte, and a piece of pattern paper to act as the backing to my pocket. I used a piece of stamp packaging and cut it down to fit around the panel, and adhered it with some 1/8 inch Score-tape then filled it with some flat gold sequins from Sizzix. I adhered it down to the matte then the base and cut a sentiment out of some pattern paper giving it a fish banner on some side. I propped it up with some thin 3D foam squares and called this card finished.
