Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by!! I have these beautiful Alcohol ink mini slimline cards to share with you today so lets jump in.
I made my alcohol ink background first, I used a 5x7 piece of Yupo paper and worked back and forth between Blending solution, isopropyl Alcohol and three colours of Alcohol ink in Indigo, Purple Twilight and Cloudy Blue. This process is difficult to describe so if you want a closer look please check out the video below, I show the whole process of making the background.
I then cut out my bases and gold matte, I like my mini slimline cards to be 3 x 6 inches when scored, I cut my gold matte to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than my bases, because I knew I was going to cut the 5 x 7 inch panel in half leaving me a 2.5 x 7 inch panels. I then cut out several snowflakes in a pearl cardstock and adhered 3 to each card front. I stamped a sentiment out with Golden Glitz Delicata ink and trimmed them down to be labels and adhered them below the snowflake on the botton of the card panel. I adhered all my layers together and added some pearls for some extra shimmer inside the 3 snowflakes on the card front.
