Beautiful Purple and Blue Shimmer Snowflake Artist Trading Cards


Hello and thank you so much for stopping by to check out these beautiful Artist Trading Cards, Let's jump right in!!


I used a piece of 5x7 Strathmore watercolour cardstock and brought in a few different sprays to create the background, I used Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Spray Stain, Hocus Pocus Mica Spray stain and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Spray, I worked between the colours and some clean clear water, drying my background between each layer until I was happy with the outcome. I then splashed on some Perfect Pearls onto the background for some extra shimmer and shine, and set the background aside to dry.


I brought out the Simon Says Stamp Harmony snowflake dies and cut them twice out of Silver Matte Mirror cardstock and twice out of White Glitter cardstock to be he focal images on my ATC's. Once my background was completely dry I cut it down into the ATC size which is 3.5 x 2.5 inches, which is the only rule when making ATC's. I really like to add a edge to my ATC's so I heat embossed some Silver Sparkle embossing powder on each side, I find that gives them a more finished look.


All that's left is to adhere my snowflakes ontop of my ATC's, I did a mix of white and silver on each card and trimmer off any access that was hanging off the side of the card. I couldn't stop myself from adding some Arctic Breeze pearls on each card, I am in love with how pearls look right now and thought they fit in so well with these cards!!
