Clean and Simple Gold Christmas Cards | 12 Weeks of Christmas Week 8

Hello everyone and thank you so much for joining me for Week 8 of my 12 weeks of Christmas series I have a clean and simple card design to share with you today so let's jump right in.

As always I like to cut down my cardstock beforehand so that I know what I have to work with, I have an A2 sized base, a matte that's cut to 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base and a panel cut to 1/8th of an inch smaller than my matte. Both cards are the same measurements though the colour of cardstock alternates.

Then I lined up my tree stamp in the Misti and stamped both panels with the same Delicata Golden Glitz ink. This ink is stunning and shows up beautifully on any colour of cardstock. I lined up my sentiment to go under the tree and stamped it in the same ink, you could have stamped both the tree and sentiment at the same time but I realized that after the fact so I did it in two steps.

I stamped out the heart image on a scrap of both white and black cardstocks and fussy cut them out, then added some foam squares to the back for a bit of added dimension. All that was left was to adhere the layers together and add a few clear sparkling gems. I hope you enjoyed this Quick and Simple Christmas card.
