Clean and Simple Oxide Blended Thanks Dandelion A2 Card


Thank you so much for joining me for this Clean and Simple Oxide Blended Thanks Dandelion A2 Card, Let's jump right in.


I started by cutting down my cardstock, my ink blended panels are a piece of Hammermill cardstock that was already cut down to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 that I then cut in half to make two panels and the Kraft matte I cut down to be 1/2 an inch smaller than my A2 base. Then I used three colours of Distress Oxide ink in Festive Berries, Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire, blending between the colours until I was happy with the outcome.


I cut out the Bold Thanks wafer die six times from the same Kraft cardstock and layered three die cuts for a chipboard effect giving me a sentiment for each card. Once my ink-blended panels were dry, I white heat embossed the large dandelion image from the Simon Says Stamps Dandelion Messages stamp set.


I adhered the layers and sentiments with a mix of liquid glue and Big Mama foam tape, then splashed on some perfect pearls for added shimmer in the background. The final step was to add some Icy Sparkle Crystals to the centres of the dandelions and call this card done.
