Crafting a Spooktacular Tri-Fold Halloween A2 Card: Step-By-Step Tutorial


Thank you so much for joining me for this Crafting a Spooktacular Tri-Fold Halloween A2 Card: Step-By-Step Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

I started by die-cutting the house and row of tombstones for the tri-fold, I left enough cardstock for a hinge on the side of each die so they would open easily... please watch the video to see how I created them because honestly, I am not sure I can explain it here. Then I used several different Distress Sprays to create the background along with a moon mask. The Colours were Hickory Smoke Spray Stain, Hocus Pocus Mica Spray, Jack o Lantern Mica Spray, Harvest Moon Mica Spray, Flickering Candle Mica Spray, and Fossilized Amber Spritz.


I added some water to the moon to get the colour to move for texture then added details with Black Soot and Hickory Smoke Distress ink. I also cut out some creepy clouds to add to the panel around the moon for added interest. Now all that's left is to build the card.

Once the hinges were adhered to the sprayed panel, I adhered another layer of cardstock on the back to give the card more stability and a clean place to write a message I also added some white highlights to help the layers stand out and add a bit more interest. I LOVE how this card came together and I hope you will give it a try.
