Create a Stunning Slimline Card with Vibrant Ink Blending: A Step-by-Step Tutorial

I started by creating the base and layers, I cut down a full-sized piece of cardstock to 7.5 by 8.5 then scored the base at 3.5 making my slimline card base 3.5 by 8.5 inches, for the black matte I cut it down to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base and the Hammermill panel to 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base leaving me thin layers all around the card.

Then I used three Oxide ink colours to blend a sunset/sunrise in Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, and Barn Door working back and forth until I was happy with how the ink blended. I used the Tree Lines stamp to create the line of trees at the bottom of the panel for added interest. Next, I cut out the world in white and black, the sentiment in black and a few clouds to add a little more white to the layout. I used three layered for my sentiment to allow it more visual weight on the card. I LOVE how this card came together and I hope you will give it a try!!
