Thank you so much for joining me for this Distress Oxide Ink Blended Floral Mini Slimline Cards with matching Envelopes tutorial, Let's jump right in.
To start I created the bases and envelopes with the We R memory keepers Slimline punch board, then trimmed out a panel from HammerMill cardstock to be about 1/4 of an inch smaller than my bases. On the first panel I blended Picked Raspberry into Seedless Preserves into Villainous Potion for the second I used Speckled Egg into Seedless Preserves into Picked Raspberry, All Distress Oxide inks.
Then I lined up and stamped the large floral image from Simon Says Stamps Beautiful Flowers stamp set on both the base and the coloured panel using my Misti and stamped out the sentiment as well with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I adhered my layers together with my favourite liquid glue so I would have some wiggle time to make sure the images lined up nicely and added some Vanilla Luster Sequins on top for added shimmer and shine. I then stamped out the same floral image on my envelopes so they would match and called these cards done.
