Distress Oxide Ink Blended Stencil Card | Simon Hurley Scene Maker Stencil and Mask

Hello everyone and thank you so much for stopping by !! Today I have a really quick card for you as it all uses the same stencil!! except for the sentiment of course. I cannot wait to show you all the things this stencil can do!! If you want a full step by step of how I made this card please check out the video below.

I started with a heavyweight A2 card base as I am going to blend right on the front panel of this card, using Distress Oxide inks in Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke for the mountains and Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber and Worn lipstick for the sky I blended between the colours until I had a smooth blend. I do find that the Domed foams really help with getting a nice blend between colours, I also flicked on some clean clear water to add texture to my background.

Once my background was finished I took the Scene builder stencil and sponged on some clouds with Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment ink and a finger dauber, and some birds with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink. Once everything was dry I used the Thanks sentiment from Scrapbook's Handmade Essentials and heat embossed it with Brutus Monroe's Alabaster embossing powder.

I added a few Studio Katia Sparkling Crystal's around the sentiment and flicked on some splashes of white gouache and Inkon3's Liquid Pixie Dust. I LOVE how versatile this Stencil and Mask set is and hope you will check it out!!
