Distress Oxide Ink Glitter Wolf Slimline card | Wild Forest Graphic SVG


Hey Guys, Thank you so much for stopping by!! I have this fun Glitter wolf slimline card to share with you today and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.


As always I like to have my cardstock cut down I am using a Slimline base which when scored is 8.5 by 3.5 inches, the black matte is 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base and the panel is 1/8 of an inch smaller than the black matte. I used a nested circle die to cut a mask out of masking paper and placed that where I wanted the moon behind the wolf. The wolf is cut out of some black glitter cardstock using my Cricut and an SVG.


I used Crackling Campfire, Aged Mahogany, Dusty Concord and Black soot to create my background, removed the moon mask, then pressed my moon into some ink on my glass mat to add some colour. I splattered on some perfect pearls and white gouache on the background to add the look of stars. Then I used Nuvo Deluxe glue to adhere my panels together, I did this now because I wanted my wolf to be able to hang off the coloured panel. I white heat embossed a sentiment from Taylored Expressions Friendship Simple Strips for the wolf to sit on. I added a piece of fun foam behind the wolf to pop it up a bit and add some dimension to the card.


Once everything was adhered and dry I couldn't help adding a few Black Jewels around the card and called it done!!
