"DIY: How to Create a Whimsical Floral Spring A2 Card Tutorial"


Thank you so much for joining me for this "DIY: How to Create a Whimsical Floral Spring A2 Card Tutorial", Let's jump right in.


I started by die-cutting all my elements from Hammermill Cardstock and gold cardstock, I used the umbrella from the gent die set, the layers from the lacy layers die set, Some leaves from the Petite Floral Potpourri die set. I adhered the two layers of the umbrella together, as well as the two layers from the lacy layers set to create my base.


Next, I used some watercolour cardstock and sprayed eight different colours, two per piece in Winterberry Mica, and Spun sugar Stain for the pinks, Snow Flurries Mica and tumbled glass Stain for the blues, Hocus Pocus Mica and Shaded Lilac Oxide for the purples and Harvest moon Mica and squeezed lemonade Oxide for the Yellows. I die-cut the Mini Brushstroke Flowers from each coloured and adhered them with liquid glue.


After adhereing the umbrella to the panel I arranged the flowers how I thought looked nice and adhered them as well, then tucked the gold leaves in wherever I thought it looked nice. For the sentiment I stamped it in gold just above the floral layout. I added some pearlescent vellum butterflies with little gems in the centre across the panel for a bit of added shimmer and shine. I love how Spring ish this card turned out and I hope you enjoyed reading about it coming together.
