Easter Themed Anniversary Card With a Mirror Stamping Technique

Hello and thank you for joining me for this Easter Themed Anniversary card featuring a mirror stamping technique, let's jump right in!!

As always I like to start by cutting down my cardstock, I have an A2 side fold base with a black matte and the main panel cut down with stitched rectangle dies. I then took some Pixie spray and the Tumbling hearts Stencil by Simon Says Stamp and blended two Distress Oxide inks onto the background in Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass, I wanted some subtle colour so I used blending brushes.

I then took the bunny image from the Showers and Flowers Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp, I used the bunny die and cut out the image twice creating a template. I placed the template and a Waffle Flower Media Mat into my Misti and lined the bunny stamp on top of the cutout template and stamped it in a Copic safe ink directly onto the waffle media mat twice, I then laid the die cut image of the bunny into the template to pick up the ink off the media mat creating a mirror image. Then stamped the second bunny the same way you would normally stamp an image. If you want a more in-depth look at how I made the mirror image of the bunny please check out the video down below.

I then coloured in both of my bunnies, for the "female" bunny I used C0, C1 and C3 for the body and RV00 for the ears and blush. For the "male" bunny I used N0, N2, and N3 for the body and C9 for the Nose as well as RV00 for his ears. I brought in a white gelly roll pen to add some highlights here and there on the bunnies. I placed my blended panel into my Misti and stamped out my sentiment, and adhered my panels to the card base. I added some 3D foam squares to the back of my bunnies for a subtle bit of dimension and placed the three hearts above them.

I hope you enjoyed this fun and different card I made this week and will consider trying the mirror technique with some of your own stamps!! I would like to know what you thought of this card and I hope you will check out the video below if you have any question or what a more in-depth look at how I made this card. I also have a full supplies list below the video in case you would like to know exactly what I used to make this card.

Thank you so much and I cannot wait until I see you again soon !!
