Elegant Pink and Gold Alcohol Ink A2 Card


Thank you so much for joining me for this Elegant Pink and Gold Alcohol Ink A2 Card, Let's jump right in.


I used a piece of Yupo, Gumball and Gilded Alloy alcohol ink to create my coloured panel. I worked between the two colours and blending solution, using an air blower to move the colour around. This took a few layers to get to something vibrant that I really liked, although I almost gave up on it in the middle because I wasn't happy, but after walking away from the panel and coming back I really liked how it turned out.


Once the Alcohol ink was dry, I trimmed the panel down into three strips and created some gold matte's to go behind them. I also cut out my sentiment from the same gold cardstock I used for my matte's and another three layers out of some white cardstock scraps to add some dimension to the sentiment, I also cut the shadow out of vellum. I adhered the sentiment layers together with my bearly art glue and weighted it down with an acrylic block, then adhered the coloured panels to the A2 base with a white gap all the way around them for added interest. I adhered my sentiment near the bottom right corner and added a few white pearls across the card front and called this card done.
