Elegant White and Gold Lantern Christmas Card


Hello and thank you so much for stopping by for a look at this Elegant white and gold lantern card!! Let's jump right into it.


As always I like to cut down my cardstock first, for this card I kind of eyeballed my layers until I was happy with the distance of them because it is a more simple card I feel like the layers really take it up a notch. I ran the smallest of my white panels through my big shot with the filigree snowflake embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp for some added texture. I used the same white cardstock to cut out all the layers of the Candlelight Colorize and two extra of the base layer to add some extra weight to my lantern. I did add some acetate to my lantern to mimic glass and cut the wax from the candle out of some cream cardstock to help it stand out a bit more, the candle flame was cut out of the same gold cardstock as the layers.


I heat embossed a small sentiment in some super fine detail gold embossing powder and trimmed it down to be a small label sentiment and adhered it to the top of the lantern. After all my layers were adhered I added some Icy Sparkle crystals to the centres of each snowflake for some extra shimmer and shine. I am pretty excited about how this card turned out!!
