Fall Jewel Toned Spell Binders BetterPress A2 Card Set Tutorial
Thank you so much for joining me for this Fall Jewel Toned Spell Binders BetterPress A2 Card Set Tutorial, Let's jump right in.
I started this project by unboxing the Betterpress, this is my first time using it and I had a lot of fun. I figured I would start out with darker painted backgrounds because... well why not?? I used four colours of acrylic paint in jewel-toned colours for the background, I painted them in a rectangle shape with a flat paintbrush.
I did cut down my cardstock I used a piece of kraft to matte the beautiful cotton paper that comes with the Betterpress, each layer is about 1/8th smaller than the layer below it, giving a small border around each layer. After the paint was dry I used the plate and black ink that came in the Betterpress and ran it through my Big shot once for each card. I then added a little brown twine around the panel and used some foam tape to give them a bit more dimension. After everything has adhered I added some Cafe Au Lait pearls to each card and called them done. I feel like this tutorial would be better explained in the video so I hope you'll check it out.
