Fall Mixed Media Artist Trading Card and matching Envelope | Junk Journalling Tuck/Pocket and Card


Thank you so much for joining me for this Fall Mixed Media Artist Trading Card and matching Envelope, Let's jump right in.


I used the envelope and Artist trading card dies out of the Collector die set and cut them out of Kraft cardstock. I started by decorating the envelope with the Leaf Prints 2 stamps and four colours of distress oxide ink in Wild Honey, Festive berries, Evergreen Bough and Fossilized Amber. Once that was done I used some gold ink and edged all of the scored areas and set it aside to dry.


I blended the same four Oxide inks onto the Artist trading card and then splashed on bth perfect pearls and some gold ink to add interest. I die-cut three of the feathers from the Feathery die set and gold edged the one I wanted to stand out the most. I adhered the three feathers at the bottom and wrapped some twine around the card for added interest. Then for a finishing touch I used a wax stamper and some melted wax and added it to the bottom over the two layers and coloured In the rose with some gold ink. For a final touch I added a white Rub-on behind the feathers and called this project done.
