Floral Copic Coloured Artist Trading Card | SSS Stronger Together

Updated: Sep 14, 2020

Hello everyone and thanks so much for stopping by !! I have decided to start a little series where I practice my Copic colouring. So it would be amazing if you got out your favourite colouring medium chose a smaller image and colour along with me!! Let's jump right into the practice

I'm using Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock for my Copic colouring, it is my prefered cardstock for alcohol markers. The only rule to an Artist Trading Card is that it must measure 2.5 x 3.5 inches otherwise everything else is up to you because it's such a small surface I find it a great way to practice anything you feel you need to work on.

I used a floral out of the Simon Says Stamp Stronger Together Stamp set as my image, it's not so big that it's intimidating but it's the perfect size to use on my ATC. Using my Mini Misti and some Gina K Amalgam Ink I stamped out my image.

I then chose out my Copic Markers I wanted to practice with, If you want to see a more step by step tutorial of how I coloured everything please watch the video below!! For the bloom's I used V04, V15, and V17, for the leaves I used G02, G16, and G19, and for the blue glow around the whole image I used B00, BG000 and B0000.

I hope you pulled out your favourite medium or one that you want to get more comfortable using and practiced as well!! I cannot wait to see you again next month when we practice some more colouring!! Thank you so much and I cannot wait to see you again!
