Hello all and thank you so much for joining me again!! Today (October 8th) happens to be my birthday so I couldn't resist sharing this birthday card with you. Let's jump in:
To start I cut down a piece of Navy cardstock, for my panel, to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than my A2 sized base allowing me to have a small white border. Then using my Misti I lined up and stamped the floral image from Simon Says Stamp Look for the rainbows stamp set and embossed it with Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Embossing powder, I also embossed my sentiment with the same embossing powder, the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps Sketched Flowers stamp set.
I then used my Prisma colour premier pencil crayons to colour in the florals, I love how pencil crayons look ontop of dark cardstocks but to get that vibrant colour I like to lay down a wash of white pencil crayon as a base before layering my coloured pencil crayons on top. Once everything was coloured I used my Nuvo Deluxe glue to adhere the panel to the base.
I couldn't help myself I had to add a few gems around the sentiment and flowers and some glitter pen to the purple flowers. You can never go wrong with some glitter and shine. If you would like to see this card's making in more depth please check out the video under this post. I also have a full supplies list below the video. Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my birthday card!!
