Fun Double Page Window Junk Journal Design Tutorial


Thank you so much for joining me for this I made my first Fun Double Page Window Junk Journal Design Tutorial, Let's jump right in.


I started by cutting out the elements I wanted from the Welcome Home Collectables Paper pad then blending Vintage Photo around the edges on both pages and through a brick stencil to add some interest, I also used some texture paste through the same stencil to add some texture to the first page. Once the paste was dry I used a craft knife and a self-healing mat to cut the window portion out of the page and adhered the window down. I added some flowers and a bird for added interest but left this first page fairly simple.

For the second page, the one you would see through the window. I arranged my fussy cut elements to look like a tea party was going on in the yard. I brought in four Copic markers to make the grass in G28, G17, G16 and YG95 and some matte gold pearls to go on the sign for some added fun. I also splashed on some perfect pearls and white paint to add a bit more whimsy to both pages and once they were dry brought in some white script rub ons for a bit of extra texture on the second page. I am pretty happy with how these turned out although I did struggle a bit to make them!!
