Galaxy Make a Wish A2 Card Tutorial with Nuvo Shimmer powders

Thank you so much for joining me for this Galaxy Make a Wish A2 Card Tutorial with Nuvo Shimmer powders, Let's jump right in.

I started by creating my background, I used some low tack tape and adhered my watercolour paper to a hard board then sprinkled on four colours of Nuvo Shimmer powders in Violet Brocade, Sunray Crocette, Atlantic Burst and Cherry bomb then added a generous amount of water. Once the panel was dry I painted on some black watercolour to add the galaxy look to the background, I also splashed on some perfect pearls and white paint for stars.

I used the Swirling stars die and cut out some stars into the background, I will add this panel on top of some silver glitter cardstock for a really fun shimmer. For my sentiment, I cut it out four times, three with white cardstock and once with the same silver shimmer cardstock and layered them up for some added dimension. I also used a Vault die set to cut out the 3D stars to add some extra interest on the card front. Once all my layers adhered all that was left was to add a few holographic stars across the panel for a little more shimmer and shine because you can never have enough!! I called this card done and I love how shiny it came out.
