Hand Drawn and Whimsical Christmas Ornament A2 Card Tutorial | 12 Weeks of Christmas Series Week 8

Thank you so much for joining me for this Hand Drawn and Whimsical Christmas Ornament A2 Card Tutorial | 12 Weeks of Christmas Series Week 8, Let's jump right in.

I started by trimming down my cardstock, I used an A2 base, which is 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 and trimmed my white glitter matte to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base, and my watercolour panel to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than my A2 base. To create the colour splotches I used some packaging and several colours of Distress ink mini's then added water and pressed them onto the card panel.

Once they were dry I used a couple of washi tapes to give me a circle then went around the circle a few times to make it look more whimiscal, I also added strings and bows to the top of the panel to make them look like they are hanging. I added some liquid glue so I could press some Mica Flakes into the right side of each ornament for extra shimmer and shine. I hand wrote a sentiment in the bottom left ornament and added a few holographic stars and called this card done. I am really happy with how it turned out, I hope you enjoyed hearing how it came together!!
