Haunted House Distress Oxide Blended A2 Card | Tim Holtz Ghost Town #2


Thank you so much for joining me for this Haunted House Distress Oxide Blended A2 Card, Let's jump right in.


To start I created the background sky for this card, I used the circle mask to block out my moon and blended three colours of Distress Oxide ink in Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot to create the sky. I used Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink for the detail layer of the moon, splashed on some perfect pearls I keep mixed up in a mini mister bottle, and set the background aside to dry.


I used the dies from Ghost Town 2 and cut them out of black and slate cardstock, I blended Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink on scrap pieces of cardstock to light up the windows and add some extra colour to the card. I glued some elements flat and propped others up with Thin 3D foam squares to add dimension to the card.


For some final touches, I used my clear glitter pen and added it to all the areas with Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink and used a few holographic stars for some extra shimmer and shine. Then called this card done, I am really happy with how it came together and think this may be my favourite Halloween card I have made!!
