Hot Foiled Oxide Blended Birthday Mini Slimline Card


Thank you so much for joining me for this Hot Foiled Oxide Blended Birthday Mini Slimline card, Let's jump right in.


I started by doing all my hot foiling first, I used my Glimmer hot foil machine, some Matte Gold Hot foil and HammerMill cardstock with two plates from Spellbinders, the Elegant Occasions Sentiment plates and the All the Candles Plate. Once everything was hot foiled I created my Mini slimline card base, I like mine to be 6 by 6 inches and scored at the 3 inch mark.


I trimmed down the candle panel to be abount 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base so I would have a white border around it. Then I blended on Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Sueezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink across the panel for some beautiful colours. I used a Microfiber cloth to buff off any ink sitting on top of the foil and set the panel aside to work on the sentiment. Thankfully these hot foil plates come with matching dies so i used that to cut out the hot foiled sentiment as well as two more layers of cardstock to give the sentiment a chip board look.


I adhered my panel to my base and added the sentiment to the lower right corner, I brought in some Matte Gold Pearls and adhered them across the card front. Then for a bit of added shimmer and shine I used my Glitter pen and added glitter to each candle. I love how this card turned out!!
