I started by die-cutting the lacy layers background pieces, using the largest scalloped edge and the next largest to that die in the set. Next, I used some snowfall grit paste and the Ornate stencil and added some texture to the panel that will sit behind the rose.
I then die-cut the rose layers out of Yupo paper, I used two colours of pearl alcohol ink called Alchemy and Intrigue for the rose petals and flower bud, As well as Sublime and Elixir for the stem and leaves parts of the flower. For the sentiment I used a premade sentiment label and added it nessled up to the stem and leaves. I used both liquid glue and foam tape to adhere everything then added some white gel pen highlights for a bit more interest on the rose. I Love how this card turned out and I hope you enjoyed watching it come together.
