How to Create a Spook-tacular Halloween Gnomies Slimline Card: Step-by-Step Tutorial


Thank you so much for joining me for this How to Create a Spook-tacular Halloween Gnomies Slimline Card: Step-by-Step Tutorial, Let's jump right in.


I started by creating the slimline base which is 7 by 8.5 inches then scored at 3.5 inch mark leaving a base thats 3.5 by 8.5 inches. I also die-cut the postage edge slimline dies two larges layers for my matte and base. Then, I ink blended 4 oxide ink colours onto the top panel in wilted violet, dusty concord, villainous potion and black soot to create a fun purple background.


Next, I stamped out the halloween gnomies stamps in a copic safe ink and on copic safe paper and coloured them in with my copic markers, I have a full list of which ones I used in the video and in the supplies list below this post. Once they were all coloured, I added some glitter and white highlights then die-cut them out with the coordinating dies. I also stamped a sentiment on the card panel just under where I wanted my gnomes to stand.


All thats left now is to put the card together, I layed out how I wanted the gnomes to sit and adhered some flat and some with some foam squares for a bit more dimension. Then I added some star embellishments across the panel for a bit more shimmer and shine and called this card done.
