How to Create Vibrant Floral Trims A2 Card with Alcohol Ink: A Step-by-Step Tutorial

Thank you so much for joining me for this How to Create Vibrant Floral Trims A2 Card with Alcohol Ink: A Step-by-Step Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

I like to start by cutting down my cardstock, I used a A2 sized base then cut the black matte down to be 1/8th of an inch smaller and my Yupo paper panel down to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base. Then I blended on seven colours of Alcohol ink in Cloudy Blue, Patina, Cool Peri, Purple Twilight, Raspberry, Celestial Pearl, and Sunshine Yellow, I worked between the colours, blending solution and air blower until I was happy with how the blend looked.

I then white heat embossed the floral image on some heavy-weight vellum and also white heat embossed my sentiment on the same black cardstock from the matte. I trimmed out the three large floral images and adhered them on top of the alcohol inked panel and added my sentiment to the lower corner of the panel. For some added interest I added some mica flakes and rock candy glitter to the centres of the flowers and adhered the layers together. I LOVE how this card came together in the end but there were a lot of miss-steps along the way, you will have to check out the video to see what I mean !!
