How to Create your own Stunning Holographic Snowflake Christmas Cards | Christmas in July series


Thank you so much for joining me for this How to Create your own Stunning Holographic Snowflake Christmas Cards | Christmas in July series, Let's jump right in.


I started by trimming down my cardstock, I used an A2 base, which is 5 1/2 by 4 1/4, and trimmed my black cardstock matte to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base, and my watercolour panel to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than my A2 base. When I make a set of cards I like to do each step for every card like an essembly line. I used a mix of Oxide Sprays, Mica sprays and Spray Stains to create the backgrounds, I have a full list of which colours I used in the supplies list and broken down in the video.


Once the backgrounds were dry I used my Misti to stamp the sentiments and silver heat embossed them to help them stand out against all that beautiful spray colour. For the focal image I used a snowflake die and cut out three for each card in holographic cardstock then layered them up for a full look. I added a gem to the centre for some added shimmer and shine.


I love how these cards turned out and I think it would be a really easy design to reproduce if you needed a bunch of them. I hope you enjoyed hearing these cards come together and I hope you will give them a try.
