How to Make a Stunning Purple and Silver Best Wishes A2 Card: Step-by-Step Tutorial

I started this card by trimming down the cardstock I would need to create the blended panel and silver detail layer on top, for the blended layer I cut it down to be about 1/8th of an inch smaller than my A2 base, and my silver detail layer will be about 1/8th of an inch smaller than the blended panel. I used three colours of oxide ink for the ink blending in Milled Lavender, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet. For added detail and interest I used a text stamp on top of the blended panel in Villainous Potion and splashed on some perfect pearls for added shimmer.

I used the Heart Mandala die on the silver panel and die cut it twice to make sure all that beautiful detail was cut through all the way. Then I used some micro-dots to adhere that layer on top of my blended panel and added some pearlescent butterflies all over the top. For the sentiment I cut it three times from white cardstock and layered that on top of a piece of vellum for a subtle separation between the layers. For a finishing touch I brought in some opal gems and added them to the centre of each butterfly and paired this card with a Lavender metallic envelope.
