I Finally Made My First Junk Journal!! Come Check Out The Full Flip Through

Thank you so much for joining me for this Junk Journal Flip through, Let's jump right in.

I can't really walk you through making the book as honestly I needed some guidance there as well but I can tell you basically what I did to make this book. To start I picked a book I liked and cut out the inside pages. I then reinforced the inside of the spine with some fabric and added new inside cover pages. I then set the book aside and worked on what I wanted in my signatures and how I wanted them laid out.

After organizing the two signatures I made a template for where the signature would be attached to the spine and hand stitched it in using three holes. Tying the thread off in the centre of the signature, then repeated the same steps for the second signature. I then added new paper to the front and back cover and adhered a doily to the spine of my book. For a final touch I added an eyelet to the back of the journal and put a piece of sari through it to close the journal. I LOVE how the journal came out and I cannot wait to create with in it!!

In side news, I opened my Etsy shop!! I have a discount code if anyone wants to order some of my Chunky Floral Alphabet stickers. The Code is THANKYOU10 I hope you will give my shop a look and let me know what you think of the stickers!!
