Lovely Layers Magnolia Lacy Slimline Card and Matching Envelope

Thank you so much for joining me for this Lovely Layers Magnolia Lacy Slimline Card and Matching Envelope, Let's jump right in.


To create this card I started by cutting out 3 of each layer for the Magnolia's and 3 of each leaf design. I then coloured the Magnolias with Kitsch Flamingo and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink, for the leaves I used Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink. Once everything was coloured I adhered the layers together with some liquid glue.


I created a slimline base which I like to be 7 x 8.5 inches and cut out a Lacy layer in the same white cardstock to create a beautiful panel. Next I laid out how I wanted my flowers and leaves to look and used a piece of Press n Seal to make it easier to adhere down the composition I created. I stamped out a sentiment in Golden glitz ink in the bottom right corner and added a few Pearls around the Magnolias. I wanted to make a matching envelope so I brought out my slimline punch board and followed its directions then stamped on top of the envelope with a Magnolia Background stamp in the same Distress Oxide inks I used earlier and called this Slimline card and envelope done.
