Thank you so much for joining me for this Mixed Media and Alcohol Inked Skull A2 Card, Let's jump right in.
I started with a piece of Yupo paper and blended on some Blending Solution and four colours of Alcohol ink in Cranberry, Raspberry, Sunset Orange and Sunshine Yellow. I worked between the colours and my blending solution until I was happy with how it looked. I set the background aside to dry and then used my Misti to white heat emboss the large image from the Gothic Tapestry stamp set on some heavy weight vellum.
Once the background was dry I brought in my Deckled edge trimmer and trimmed down the background until I had about 1/4 of an inch white border around it.I tore the vellum down until only the skull was left and used some thin Scar-Tape to adhere it to the Alcohol inked background making sure to have some stick off the edge for more interest.
Once everything was adhered to the card base I brought in some Heirloom Roses and dyed the with the same alcohol inks then adhered them across my skulls head kind of like a crown. I used some Mica flakes to fill out the crown and add some shimmer and shine then called this card done. I am pretty excited with how this card came together!!
