Non-traditional Copic Coloured Ornaments Circle Shaped Card | 12 weeks of Christmas Week 7


Thank you so much for joining me for this Non-traditional Copic Coloured Ornaments Circle Shaped Card, Let's jump right in.


I started by creating my circle card base, I die cut two matching circles and score a half inch on one circle and adhered them together. I also die cut a slightly smaller circle to act as a matte for my copic coloured panel.


I stamped out the Outline Ornaments on some hammer mill cardstock in Copic safe ink and chose a bunch of fun colours to colour in the images. I used 110 for the black background, V12, V15 and V17 for the purples, N1, N3, and N5 for the ornament toppers, RV14, RV17 and RV19 for the pinks, BG23, BG45 and BG49 for the teals and Y06, Y08 and Y19 for the yellow. I like to lay a wash of my lightest colour down, then my midtown and my darkest tone, then mid tone and lightest to get a better blend and have more control over the shadows.


Once I was finished with the copic colouring I ran the panel through my switch with a smaller circle die and added some extra touches on it with a white gel pen and clear glitter pen. Then I adhered all the layers together and added a couple opal gems on top and called this card done.
