Non-Traditional ink Blended Christmas Slimline Card Tutorial | Christmas in July Series

Thank you for joining me for this Non-Traditional ink Blended Christmas Slimline Card Tutorial. Let's jump right in.

I started by creating my slimline base, I cut 4 inches off a standard size cardstock and scored at 3.5 inches, leaving me with a 3.5 by 8.5 inches card base. Then for my panels I ran two pieces of Hammermill cardstock through my Switch with the Slim Lacy layers dies to create a fun panel to work on.

I used three colours of Distress Oxide ink on the smallest panel in Seedless Preserves, Salvaged Patina, and Speckled Egg. There was no rhyme of reason as to where I blend on the colours I just tried to create a bit of movement on the panel. Once they were dry I white heat embossed a sentiment in the lower right corner and covered it with a piece of low tack tape so I could add some snowflakes on top with some Snowfall Grit Paste through a stencil. While the paste was still wet I added some Rock candy glitter and mica flakes on top and gently pounced them into the paste.

After the pate was dry I removed the low tack tape and adhered the layers together with my favourite liquid glue and splashed on some perfect pearls for some added shimmer and shine. I love how this card came together!!
