Non-Traditional Purple and White Christmas Card | 12 Weeks of Christmas Week 2

Thank you so much for joining me for this Non-Traditional Purple and White Christmas Card, Let's jump right in.

I started by creating the ink-blended background, I used four colours of Distress oxide ink starting with Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord, Villanious Potion and finishing with Black Soot. I wanted to create a kind of Halo effect with the lightest colour in the center and going out to the darkest colour on the outside. I also added a black matte under my coloured panel so I trimmed about 1/16th of an inch off the black matte for the white card base to show and about 1/8th of an inch off the coloured panel, I wanted to have skinny layers for my matte and base.

I then white heat embossed the ornaments and sentiment from the Gina K Designs Stamptember 2022 set on the panel. I flicked on some perfect pearls to add shimmer to the background then adhered my layers together. For a final bit of embellishment, I added some Arctic Breeze pearls across the front of the card and called it done.
