Non-Traditional Whimsical Circle Christmas card | 12 Weeks of Christmas 2022 - Week 1


Thank you so much for joining me for this Non-Traditional Whimsical Circle Christmas card, Let's jump right in.


To start I created the Circle card base by using a nested circle die and an A2 card base I already made and running it through my die cutting machine while leaving a hinge on the top. I then stamped out a few images from the Clearly Besotted Stamptember set from 2021 in Memento black ink on Hammermill card stock, both of which are Copic safe.


I used several Copic Markers including N1, N3, N5 for the mountain, B37, B39 and B99 for the sky, G17, G28, G29 for the tree, B0000, B00, and B01 for the clouds, Rv00, Y00, G00, B00, and V01 for the rainbow and details on the unicorn, C1, C3 and C5 for the bodies of the unicorn, C9 for the unicorns hooves, and finally E41 and E43 for a few details on the unicorn then used the matching dies to cut the unicorn and background out.


For some final touches I used some Gold Acrylic Ink for some added details across the card, brought in a white gel pen for some highlights and a clear glitter pen for some added shimmer and shine. I think for the first attempt on a circle card this turned out pretty great.
