Pattern Paper Poinsettia A2 Cards | Tim Holtz Seasonal Sketch Dies


Hello everybody and thank you for joining me for this really pretty Pattern patter Poinsettia card!! Let's jump right in.


So I am working with an A2 cardbase and I bought in a piece of hammermill cardstock cut to the same size as the front of my A2 to work as my panel, you could do this on the front of the base if you would rather but I chose to adhere everything onto a panel. I cut out a piece of Belle Countryside patter paper to be the size of an A2 then trimmed it on a diagonal for added interest. I also brought in a script pattern paper and cut it on the same diagonal to go under neath the Belle pattern paper. I cut out 1/4 inch strips of white glitter cardstock to go above the seams of where the papers all meet to give it a cleaner look.


I then cut out the seasonal sketch dies in a purple and green Metallic Kraftstock and some pearlescent vellum and adhered the layers together. I used Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink to stamp out my sentiment as it was the closest match to the colour of the top layer of my poinsettia. After everything was adhered I added some Arctic Breeze pearls across my card front and adhered the panel onto the A2 card base.
