Pearl Alcohol Ink Butterfly Shimmer Card

Hello everybody and thank you for joining me for this fun Alcohol ink Pearl Butterfly card!! Let's jump right in.

To start I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out my Matte Black Alcohol Ink paper and then brought in some blending solution and two colours of Alcohol ink pearls in Enchanted and Tranquil, I worked them back and forth until I was happy with the blend. I then heat embossed three butterflies twice on heavy weight Vellum, one set in white embossing powder and one set in Holographic embossing powder and then layered them up for more dimension, I only adhered them in the centre of the die cuts so the wings would be able to move.

I then brought out a reverse sentiment strip and used my Minc Mini to foil it with some sparkling silver fancy foil. Now I am ready to adhere all my elements down, I started with my black panel and adhered it to my white A2 card base. I then played with the layout of the butterflies until I was happy and then only adhered the body of the butterfly to the panel fluffing up the wings for a fuller look. I tucked my sentiment strip right under the lowest butterfly and then brought in some Arctic Breeze pearls and adhered them around the card panel.

I love how this card came together, sadly it is one of those cards that doesn't photograph well, its so shiny and beautiful!!
