Pink and Brown Valentine's Artist Trading Cards
Hello everybody and thank you for joining me for this quick look at how I made these beautiful Pink and Brown Valentine's Artist Trading Cards, let's jump right in.
As always I like to cut down my cardstock so I can see what I am working with, I cut my Kraft cardstock down to 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches and set them aside, I then ink smooshed Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick and Kitsch Flamingo on a slick surface and created my background on a piece of 5x7 inch watercolour cardstock, drying between layers. Once my panel was dry I bought in the Tumblings Hearts stencil and some Moonstone glitter paste and added it to the background, then set my panel aside to dry.
I cut out several hearts from Pixie Dust glitter cardstock, Pink jewel metallic cardstock and some of the same Kraft cardstock I used for my bases. Once my background was dry I cut it down with my deckled edge trimmer for some added texture and brought in my scissors to make cuts and rolled them up to give it an aged look. I then adhered my backgrounds to the Kraft panels and added 3 hearts to each card alternating the colours. I always love to add Gems so I brought in some Pink Fresh studio's essential jewels and added a few pink ones to each card.
