Hello everyone and welcome to a special Card and Collab with my friend Kendra!! If you want to hear more about the Collab please check out the video below. Let's jump into the making of this cute card.
As always I like to cut my cardstock down, I have an A2 side fold card base, a black matte that's cut to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base, and a panel cut down to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than my black matte. I then used the River Rock stencil and some Aquamarine Embellishment Mousse to create my background elements.
I stamped out two puffins in Copic friendly ink and coloured one in with V09 and BV29 and the other with C7 and C9, for the beak and feet I used YR16. I then trimmed them out with the coordinating dies and my Gemini Go. I also stamped and trimmer out a Birthday sentiment from the Halftone stars stamp set to be a ground for my puffin. I attached everything down with Nuvo Deluxe glue except my puffin, I used some foam squares to give them some dimension and help them stand out.
Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out this cute and simple birthday puffin card. I hope you will give the video a watch and check out the supplies list down below.
