Quick and Easy Floral hi card | Using Cricut Explore Air 2 and a free SVG file

Updated: Sep 13, 2020

Hello and welcome, Thank you very much for stopping by! Today I have a few examples of quick and easy ways to use Scrapbook.com's Digital Cut File - Floral Sampler Pack for when you are short on time and need a great for almost every occasion card.

For my first example, I took Distress Oxide inks in the colors Picked Raspberry and Mermaid lagoon and blended them on to Bristol smooth card stock, then glued down my Floral card front I cut with my Cricut explore air 2 from some 110lb black card stock.

For the rest of these examples, it will be even easier as I used some of my large stash of patterned paper. I have a large stash because I generally have no idea how to use it but I love the patters.

I took one of the sheets from the Brutus Monroe Watercolor galaxy paper pad and glued a down my floral card front in 110lb white cardstock.

For my third example, I took one of the Tim Holtz Metallic Confections Kraft stock in a bronze color and glued down my floral card front in 110lb black cardstock, Here's where I made a mistake though, and seeing as this was the third card its a silly mistake too. I put way too much glue down on my card front and it oozed out onto the metallic Kraft stock and then wouldn't come off. So be sure to keep an eye on that darn glue, it sure gets excited and goes everywhere.

For my fourth and final example, I took a piece of Simon says stamps glitter card stock from their Holiday glitter card stock collection in gold and my last 110lb white floral card front and attached it down on the glitter card stock, keeping an eye on my pesky glue.

You could absolutely add some embellishments or sequins, however, as I plan to mail these to a few of my penpals I didn't want to add any extra bulk.

That completes this quick and simple card tutorial, for step by step instructions and a look at the oozing glue saga please check out the video below, and a full list of supplies with links will be right under the video.
