Thank you so much for joining me for these super colourful Rainbow Birthday Artist Trading Cards, Let's jump right in.
To start I always like to have my cardstock cut down to the right size so that I know what I am working with, as far as I know, the only rule to creating an Artist Trading card is that they need to be 2.5 by 3.5 inches, which is what I cut my Canson Watercolour paper down to.
Then with a small acrylic block and the solid balloon stamp from Simon Says Stamp's Big Birthday Greetings stamp set, I proceeded to cover the whole ATC in balloon's. For my Rainbow selection of inks, I used Distress Oxide Inks in the colours Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin. Distress Oxide inks overlap beautifully so I had no worries about my colours creating mud on my card.
Once my whole ATC was covered in Balloons I then used a small Happy Birthday sentiment from the same stamp set and some VersaFine Clair Nocture ink to stamp in on the right-hand bottom corner of my ATC. As a finishing touch, I also added some Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Mini Star Confetti for a little sparkle, Sadly you can't really see them in the picture but in person, they are super cute!!
