Rainbow Emboss Resist Mini Slimline cards | Visible Image Design Team Cards

Hello everybody and thank you for joining me for these really pretty Rainbow Emboss resist Mini slimline cards !! Let's jump right in.

As usual I did cut down my bases first, for Mini Slimline I do prefer them to be 6x6 inches and scored at the 3 inch mark. I also trimmed down a third 6x6 panel out of HammerMill cardstock as its great for ink blending. I brought in my favourite Distress Oxide inks to create my rainbow background in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet. Then stamped overtop of the colours in six colours of Archival Ink for some added texture and interest with the Visible Image Round Ink Circles stamps, the inks came from Kit 1 and 2 of the Distress Archival kits. Neither the blending or stamping needs to be perfect as we will be covering it for this technique.

Once my panel was fully dry I covered it in antistatic powder and used a finger dauber and VersaMark ink to cover the whole Butterfly Ink Stencil then coated it with some fine detail clear embossing powder and heat set it until it was smooth and melted. I then covered the whole panel in Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and wiped off any ink sitting on top of the embossed area with a baby wipe and trimmed the panel in half so I could create the two mini slimline cards.I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Visible Image Go To words stamp set on some heavy weight vellum and wrapped them around the bottom of the panel adhering them on the back with some Scor-tape.

I adhered the panels down to a black shimmer matte 1/8th of an inch smaller than the white base and trimmed the panel to 1/8th of an inch smaller than the black matte allowing all the layers to show. For a final touch I added some Black Pink fresh Jewels around the wings of the butterfly.

Thank you so much for stopping by for this quick look at my Rainbow Mini Slimline cards. If you would like a more in-depth look please check out the video below, I also have a full supplies list below the video in case you want to know exactly what I used. I hope to see you again very soon!!
