Silhouette Distress Oxide Blended Cards | Simon Says Stamp Forest Scenery Stamp Set


Hello Everyone, Thank you so much for joining me!! I have these two stunning card to share with you so lets jump right in!!


As always I like to cut down my cardstock, I have an A2 base and I trimmed my panel to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base and my black matte 1/8 of an inch smaller than the base to create layers. I used a stencil to blend on three colours of Distress Oxide on both cards for the first card I used Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Abandoned Coral, for the second card I used Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina and Mermaid Lagoon. Working the blend back and forth until I was happy with the colours.


I put my panels into my Misti and used Simon Says Stamps Grid Transparency sheet to help me line up my silhouette images from Simon Says Stamps Forest Scenery stamp set how I wanted them and stamped them down in VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I also heat embossed a sentiment on some black cardstock and trimmed it down to be a label to add under my stamped images.


Then to finish it off I had to adhere all my layers and added some stunning Studio Katia Arctic Breeze Pearls.
