Simple Gold and Navy Christmas Slimline Card Tutorial | 12 Weeks of Christmas week 12
Thank you so much for joining me for this Simple Gold and Navy Christmas Slimline Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.
I started by creating my card base which is a Slimline size, I cut four inches off a standard piece of cardstock, 8.5 x 11 and scored it at 3.5 leaving me a Slimeline card base of 8.5x 3.5 inches when folded. I also trimmed down a piece of Soft Navy cardstock to 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base and a black matte to 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base for a layered look.
I blended some Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink around the Soft Navy card panel for added dimension. Then used my Misti to stamp both my Sentiment and Floral image in Versamark ink, I added Gold embossing powder across the stamping and heat set the powder until it was smooth and melted. I splashed on some Gold ink across the panel for some added interest and added a few matte gold Gems and called this card done. It's a simple card but I really like how it turned out!!
