"Step-by-Step Guide: Creating a Stunning Easter Butterfly A2 Card in Minutes"

I used a scrap of glitter cardstock I had on hand to matte the coloured strip I plan to ink blend on, The glitter strip measures about 21/4 x 5 1/4 inches and I cut the blending strip to be about 1/8th of an inch smaller than the glitter matte. I used four colours of Distress Oxide ink for ink blending in Spun sugar, Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass and Shabby shutters. I blended between them until I was happy with how the blend looked. Then I splashed on some perfect pearls for extra shimmer and shine.


Next, I die-cut out the butterflies I made their main body Vellum, The detail part of their wings is pearlescent vellum and the centre body is made out of white glitter cardstock that matches the layer of the blended panel. I used Spun Sugar to stamp my sentiment and used a mix of liquid glue and foam tape to adhere everything to the card. For a final touch, I added a few sequins around the sentiment to give it a littler bit more sparkle.
