Stunning Cityscape Oxide Ink Blended Flat Shaker Christmas Card

Thank you so much for joining me for this Stunning Cityscape Oxide Ink Blended Flat Shaker Christmas Card, Let's jump right in.

To create the blended background I brought in five colours of Distress Oxide ink in Tumbled Glass, Wilted Violet, Villainous potion, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I blended between the colours until I was happy with how they looked and then splashed on some perfect pearls for added interest. Now let's create the Shaker portion of this card, I trimmed down a piece of leftover stamp packaging and with 1/8th inch, Scor-tape adhered it on three sides creating a pocket. I added in some Mica flakes, Rock candy glitter and Star embellishments then sealed up the pocket.

On another piece of HammerMill cardstock, I stamped out the cityscape images in copic-safe ink and used N1, N3, and N5 Copic markers to add some depth to the houses and let the background shine. I fussy cut out all the images then ran the Santa die from last year through my die-cutting machine with some black glitter cardstock for a fun added detail. All that's left to do is adhere to the layers and shake them around for fun. I am pretty happy with how this turned out and hope you enjoyed the process.
