Stunning Distress Spray Leaf Fragments Slimline card | Tim Hotlz Leaf Fragments Dies


Hello everyone and thank you so much for stopping by to check out my stunning Distress Spray Leaf Fragments Slimline Card. Let's jump right in!!


As always I like to start by cutting down my cardstock I like my slimline bases to be 7 by 8.5 inches and scored at 3.5 inches. As for my cream panel I didn't measure it I used a Deckled Trimmer and kept taking a bit off until I was happy with how it looked. I cut down some Distress watercolour cardstock to create my Leaf Fragments on. I used quite a few different sprays to create the backgrounds I later cut into the left fragments. I used several Distress Oxide Sprays in Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Candied Apple, Crackling Campfire, Cracked Pistachio, Pine Needles and Twisted Citron, Ripe Persimmon Distress Spray Stain, Flickering Candle Mica and Jack o Lantern Mica Stains. Working between the colours until I had blends I liked.


Once All the panels were dry I cut them out with the Leaf Fragments Dies and added gold embossing throughout the leaves and on the rim of my background panel. I also flicked on several different colours to the cream panel for some added interest. I adhered my background panel with some 3M foam tape and added thin 3D foam squares to the back of my leaves. After adhereing everything to my card base I couldn't resist adding some Vintage SHimmer Pearls by Studio Katia for a little bit of extra shimmer and called this card done!!
