Stunning Grey and Yellow Leaf Fragments A2 Card | Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink


Thank you so much for joining me for this Stunning Grey and Yellow Leaf Fragments A2 Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.


I started out by trimming down my cardstock, I have an A2 base which is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2, a black matte that I cut to 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base and a piece of watercolour cardstock that I cut to 1/4 smaller leaving a small border around each layer. I used a smooching technique to create the background, Most of the colour was the new Distress ink in Lost Shadow but I also added a little Scattered Straw.


I cut three of the leaf fragments to act as a focal point, but I didn't want to cover up the background so I cut them out of vellum for some added interest then wrapped the bottom of them with some Brown twine and added a bow. I added a sentiment label sticker under the leaf bundle to tie in the black matte. For a finishing touch, I added some Silver Satin pearls around the sentiment and called this card done. I LOVE how this card turned out!!
