Stunning Pink & Gold Perspective Butterfly Birthday 5x7 Card Tutorial

Thank you for joining me for this Stunning Pink & Gold Perspective Butterfly Birthday 5x7 Card Tutorial. Let's jump right in.

I started by creating my 5x7 card base, Gold matte and Hammermill panel, each layer about 1/8th of an inch smaller than the last. Next I blended on my HammerMill panel with four colours of Distress Oxide ink in Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry. For some added interest I splashed on some clean clear water and some perfect pearls.

Next I cut out the Perspective Butterfly die from some stunning Gold cardstock and removed all the pieces that cut out of the wings. For my sentiment I white heat embossed Happy Birthday on the bottom right corner, then adhered my butterfly slightly off to the side and trimmed off the access. Once all my layers were adhered, I also added a few Satin Blanc pearls around the design and called this card done. I LOVE pink and gold cards... they always end up making me smile.
