Traditional Kraft Christmas Card | Christmas in July Series


Hello Everyone, thank you so much for stopping by for my Christmas in July 2021 series!! I have this beautiful traditional Chrismtas card to share with you this week!! Let's jump right in.


I used a panel and base made out of Neenah Desert storm card stock, using a stitched rectangle die to add something a little extra to the panel. I white embossed a few images and my sentiment from Simon Says Stamps Joyful Season's stamp set. I coloured in parts of the images with some Prisma cloured pencils using two shades of red, green and a white for the cotton.


I wanted to add some whimsy to the design so I splashed on some perfect pearls and white gouache to the background and set that aside to dry. I wanted to have a matching envelope so I stamped the same image onto a Simon Says Stamp School House Red envelope. Once my panel was dry I adhered down a red velvet trim ribbon to the bottom and added a few Studio Katia Icy Sparkel Crystals around the sentiment. I wanted to add some dimension to the panel so I used 3M foam tape to adhere my panel to the base, and for a little added shine I brough in some Glossy accents and added it on top of all the berries in the image.
